Thierry Lhermitte was born in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, and began his career by founding the comedy troupe "Le Spendid," along with some friends with whom he was playing in a Café-Théâtre. After one of their sketches was made into a movie, they became a success. They continued to make many plays which became films. In 1992 Thierry came to the United States to star in "Seven Sundays." He is among France's most popular actors/writers/producers, and has worked on more than thirty films.
