Joey Allen was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and was moved to Lewisville, North Carolina at the tender age of 8. He attended high school at the prestigious Forbush High School in Yadkinville, North Carolina. After graduating, he got started doing extra work on the show Dawson's Creek filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina. After catching the acting bug. Joey moved to Los Angeles and attended the New York Film Academy at Universal Studios.
